Owned by Hoover Angus and Craigmore Farm.

I agree with Landi McFarland of Hoover Angus...it is difficult to find fault with Erica of Ellston C124! Today when donor cows produce a calf or two and head for the nearest est facility, C124 retains Pathfinder Cow status with a 368-day calving interval and a production record BW ratio 4 @ 97, WW ratio 4 @ 114, YW ratio 3 @107, IMF ratio 3 @ 101 and RE ratio 3 @ 103!

C124's son, the $47,000 valued Hoover Dam, is a heavily used young sire at ORIgen/ABS and many experienced breeders who have seen him comment that he is the thickest bull they have seen in the past 15-20 years! Hoover Dam's full sister, Erica of Ellston H170, sold for $50,000 in Hoover's March 2010 sale, a valuation surpassed only by C124 who sold a week earlier in a private transaction for $45,000 for one half interest and a $90,000 valuation to Craigmore Farm. C124 has just started service as a donor cow for Hoover Angus and Craigmore Farm.
